FALL~The best time of the year!

Well fall has finally officially showed it's uglier side as it has become cold. However, the sun is still shining so that helps. The leaves are past their peak color, and the wind has helped knocked them off the trees.

What's new with us? We have a new grand dog. He arrived back in August, and his name is Brutus.

Isn't he a little cutie pie! He is a pie bald dashund. We haven't met him yet, but hopefully will at Christmas.

Next week is vacation time! We are going out to Virgina to see our daughter and son-in-law! We are so anxious for not only to get away from work, but anxious to see the kids too! We fly out of KC on Wednesday and come back the following Tuesday.

The last blog I did we had not moved into our new house yet. Well we did in June of '09 and are loving it. Our newest addtion there is a pole barn out back of the house so the tractors can get in out of the cold and so can the truck! I'm sure this will delight them come winter!

Well that's all for now. Life is busy and consists of eating, sleeping, and working!

Saturday in the Park you'd think it was the 4th of July

Today is Saturday. A day to head down to the house and clean cement floor again. Thanks to my dad though I now have a better plan to get the paint off the cement!!!! Sand it off!!! Dust but with a palm sander, it shouldn't be as bad as with a big orbital one!

Not feeling the best~probably have a sinus infection which stinks because I don't have a doctor established around here yet! Oh well, guess I'll worry about that if I have to go to one. No need to worry till the time comes, and it's Saturday so no docs available!

Can't wait to get into our new house! Less than a month now but there is still plenty to do before that happens. I need to use what time I have in the evenings to pack up what can be packed up. I also need to find out how to do EBAY and get rid of some teapots and stuff! Moving is actually a time to dispose of things so really we shouldn't have much beings we have moved 14 times in 29 years of marriage!!!! 15 when we move this time!!! But needless to say~we have plenty to still move! You know all of that stuff that has been in boxes for the past 2 1/2 years you still might use someday!!! Some has been in boxes longer than that!!! Time to rid ourselves of all the extra weight!

Wish we had our kids closer, but God has them where they are and us where we are for a purpose and I have to remember that! At least they were all here for a visit last month! Wouldn't it be nice if we had the money to jet to their places on the weekend whenever we wanted. But then I'd be gone all of the time and our house would never get finished!!! OR better thought we could jet them here!!!!!
